Describing herself as a ‘producer singer lady’, ISADORA has just dropped her third single to date: ‘Visions’. The track is being released by super cool London label, Ex-Girlfriend Records, which is run ‘by females for everyone’, and marks ISADORA’s first proper release since crossing the pond herself to her new home in the UK. However the journey to writing her debut EP, which ‘Visions’ will form a part of, has not been an easy one. “I was struggling with my own mental health…I was thrown into an absolutely soul-sucking world that felt to me like one big ‘battle royale’. I didn’t have the spirit for it, my self confidence was battered, so I became a recluse. I stayed in my bedroom all day and wrote and produced this EP instead.” ‘Battle Royale’ is therefore a fitting name for her new EP, and if ‘Visions’ is anything to go by it looks set to be a dark and hard-hitting body of work.
